Inas Said
Chief Executive Officer and Board Member
Mr. Said was appointed Galil Software's Chief Executive Officer in December
2007. He previously held several managerial positions at Nokia from 1995 to
2001, first in Germany and then in the United States. He then joined Stratus
Technologies in Boston as a senior R&D manager, before returning to Israel and
joining ECI Telecom's Broadband Access Division in 2006. Mr. Said brings a
wealth of R&D experience in the area of networking, including SONET/SDH, ATM,
and IP. In his last position at ECI, Mr. Said was responsible for sales
activities in German-speaking countries.
Mr. Said holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from TU Branuschweig in
Germany and is a graduate of the Kellogg-Recanati International Executive MBA
Program a joint degree from the Faculty of Management of Tel-Aviv University
and Northwestern University, Chicago.

Nemi Ashkar
Program Director
Mr. Ashkar is a program director at Galil Software. He has over 24 years of
experience in IT and related high-tech fields. Prior to joining Galil Software,
Mr. Ashkar held a variety of managerial positions in major corporations such as
Bestfoods, Unilever, Tower Semiconductor and Hewlett Packard. He started as a
programmer, and has served as a systems analyst, projects manager, and an
infrastructure and IT manager.
Mr. Ashkar brings a wealth of management experience in information technology.
In his last position at HP, he was responsible for the business of Disaster
Recovery Plans (DRP) activities.
Mr. Ashkar has a long and successful track record in the IT world. He has
driven successful ERP and infrastructure projects for organizations with
thousands of employees and he has substantial experience in leading
corporate-wide, cross-national technological changes.
Mr. Ashkar holds a BA from Bar-Ilan University. He is certified for information
systems analysis from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, and holds
a MBA from Derby University, with distinction in high-tech marketing.

Bassel Khoury
Program Director
Mr. Khoury joined Galil Software as a program director in March 2008. He has
more than 15 years of experience working for leading international IT
companies. He started his career at IBM in 1995 and in 2000 he was recruited by
Intel England where he held different management positions. His last position
at Intel was managing the Professional Services Group. Bassel returned to
Israel in 2004 and joined the Dalet Israeli R&D branch (Gefen Dekel), one of
the leading companies in the MAM and broadcast world. He managed the Project
Management and Professional Services Group. Mr. Khoury was responsible for
account management and presale activities in Europe and Africa.
Mr. Khoury holds an Engineering degree in computers from the Technion – Israel
Institute of Technology.

Taher Karaman
Administrative Manager
Mr. Karaman spent 22 years in California (1977-1998) working for major
corporations such as Ingram Micro, Vitek Systems Distribution, Montgomery Ward,
Weiser Lock and others. A goal-oriented manager in distribution and
manufacturing environments, Mr. Karaman has years of experience as an
Operations and Logistics Manager in world-class companies. Mr. Karaman has
handled consulting and business development projects in bio-tech and high-tech
industries since 1998 in Israel and the Middle East. His varied experience,
strong organizational skills and proven ability to implement improvements will
be critical in supporting the startup and growth of Galil Software.
Mr. Karaman holds an B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and an M.B.A from
California State University – Long Beach.
